What PT provides | What PT needs from you | Fee Structure

  What PERFECT TIMING provides:

UP ^

* assistance in purchasing quality, compatible race numbers
* guidance in design of event entry form (registration form)
* data entry of registrants
* race-day data entry if necessary
* training of registration volunteers
* online registration with active.com if desired
* guidance in finish area layout and organization
* training of finsh line volunteers
* accurate timing of your event
* large display finish line clock and stand
* announcer's computer or pre-race roster for identifing participants at the finish line
* results, preliminary and final, printed and posted
* complete printout of results in various forms
* electronic file of official results
* electronic file of mailing list and database
* individualized email results sent to participants with valid email addresses
* race results sent to media, webmaster of your choice and posted on our website
* timing equipment for rental lease if you want to time your event yourself

  What PERFECT TIMING needs from you:

* description, diagram and tour of of finish area and facilities prior to event day
* at least two week notice of race requirements of age groups, awards and result details
* adequate finish line chutes and equipment 3' wide 100' long per lane
* flagging or fencing for traffic and crowd control of finish area
* on-site electrical supply for timing equipment
* 4 to 40 finish area volunteers for setup and timing support
* a half hour of time for training of volunteers well before the event start
* note: without proper number of trained volunteers we cannot ensure results accuracy
* high quality easy to read bibs with bar codes on pull tags
* ie: 3" tall minimum black numerals on solid light colored background for bibs
* accurately filled out large legible pre-registration forms prior to event day
* registration forms require at minimum name, age, sex, event and bib number
* note: avoid forms that are small, multiple format or those printed in newspapers
* note: use one central location for registration form drop off

  FEE STRUCTURE - PULL TAG TIMING:

* $2.50 per participant with a $500 minimum fee (covers the first 200 racers).
* $4.00 per participant for those registering on the day of the race.
* $0.25 per participant for non-conforming bib numbers (we need 3" minimum numerals, bar codes on pull tags, black numerals on light solid background - we can assist with purchase at no charge).
* Triathlons: $2.50 per participant/team. $1.50 extra for each additional leg time (i.e. 3 split times is $5.50 per participant).

  FEE STRUCTURE - CHIP TIMING:

UP ^

* $3.00 per participant with a $1000 minimum fee (covers the first 333 racers).
* $4.50 per participant for those registering on the day of the race.
* $1000 for additional timing stations (i.e. start, splits).
* $1.50 per unused tagged bib numbers.
* Triathlons: $3.00 per participant/team. $1.50 extra for each additional leg time (i.e. 3 split times is $6.00 per participant) plus one time purchase of chip straps. Please note that a Triathlon may require multiple timing stations and incur the $1000 fee for additional timing stations.

  FEE STRUCTURE - OTHER EXPENSES AND DISCOUNTS:

* $100.00 setup fee for each additional entry form style or size (first form set up is no charge).
* $0.60 per mile travel expenses round trip Bozeman, MT.
* Accommodations for PERFECT TIMING crew if overnight stay is required.
* $200.00 per day rental for hand timing equipment if you want to time your event yourself.
* $100.00 cancellation fee.
* Contact us regarding possible discounts for online registration and non-timed (data entry only) events.
